This MOM means business! Erika Myshawn Jones of My Simple MOMents found her niche with her blog where she connects with Mothers through her own personal stories and the stories of other Moms. She offers her encouragement to her readers and considers it her way of honoring her purpose and holding herself accountable for building family and community. This week My Simple MOMents stepped out of the usual comfort zone of blogging and created a product that every Parent who does "Elf On A Shelf" with their kids needs to have. V Sabastan Moore, Licensed Professional Counselor and Therapist at Progress To Purpose Concierge Therapy took some time away from his usual duties to help friend find work. He asked the BBFG for leads and it wasn't long before 4-5 possible opportunities were shared in response. His friend now has several meetings planned that will likely lead to work. V Sabastan Moore went on to say "I love that we can network with & for one another on a larger scale right here in the BBFG." I couldn't agree more. Continued success Mr. Moore and thanks for leading our community through your advocacy for positive Mental Health!

Congratulations To The First Black Vice President Of The United States
Sen. Kamala Harris of California was elected the first female vice president of the United States, putting a substantial crack in what former candidate Hillary Clinton called the “highest and hardest glass ceiling” between women and the White House.
With former Vice President Joe Biden declared the winner of the presidency by the Associated Press, Ms. Harris, the daughter of Indian and Jamaican immigrants, will also be the first Black vice president and first of Indian descent when the pair is inaugurated in January. Congratulations!
Continued success to all the BBFG Members and their businesses. Until next week be sure to support BOBs where you can and most importantly remember....it's our time!
Have a great weekend!
Phillip
