The Black Business Focus Group (BBFG) has made remarkable strides in 2025, strengthening its role as a vital platform for Black entrepreneurs, consumers, and communities. This year’s achievements reflect a clear commitment to expanding reach, boosting economic power, and providing valuable resources. The impact of BBFG’s efforts goes beyond numbers; it builds connections and creates opportunities that support sustainable growth for Black-owned businesses.

Community Growth and Reach
BBFG’s community has grown significantly, now including over 20,000 members across various platforms. This growth shows the increasing interest and engagement in supporting Black-owned businesses. The group’s social media presence has expanded to more than 30,000 followers, creating a dynamic space for sharing stories, products, and resources.
A key highlight is the engagement of over 1,000 verified consumers who actively support Black-owned businesses. These consumers participate in discussions, provide feedback, and help amplify the visibility of entrepreneurs within the community. This active participation strengthens the network and encourages more people to join the movement.
Economic Impact
The economic influence of BBFG’s initiatives is clear. In 2025, over $2.5 million in Black consumer dollars circulated within the community. This circulation supports business growth and helps create jobs, contributing to a more resilient local economy.
One standout effort was the successful Juneteenth commerce push. This campaign encouraged consumers to prioritize Black-owned businesses during the holiday, resulting in increased sales and awareness. The push not only boosted revenue but also highlighted the importance of economic empowerment tied to cultural celebration.
E-Commerce Initiatives
BBFG took important steps to enhance online shopping experiences for supporters of Black-owned businesses. The launch of Juneteenth T-shirt lines provided a fresh way for consumers to show pride and support through fashion. These products quickly gained popularity, combining meaningful messaging with quality design.
Additionally, BBFG activated an Amazon storefront dedicated to Black-owned products. This storefront makes it easier for consumers to discover and purchase items from a trusted source. By simplifying access to these products, BBFG helps businesses reach wider audiences and increase sales.
Content and Education
Education remains a cornerstone of BBFG’s mission. In 2025, the group published over 52 newsletters and more than 50 blog posts focused on entrepreneurship and financial literacy. These resources offer practical advice, success stories, and expert insights that help entrepreneurs build stronger businesses.
The content covers topics such as managing cash flow, marketing strategies, and navigating funding options. By providing consistent and relevant information, BBFG supports members in making informed decisions and growing their ventures sustainably.
Partnerships
Collaboration has been key to BBFG’s success this year. The group formed partnerships with Black Chambers of Commerce, which helped expand its network and resources. These alliances create opportunities for joint events, shared knowledge, and collective advocacy.
BBFG also worked with major brands interested in supporting Black-owned businesses. These partnerships bring additional visibility and resources, benefiting both entrepreneurs and consumers. By connecting with established organizations, BBFG strengthens its capacity to serve the community effectively.
BBFG’s accomplishments in 2025 demonstrate the power of focused efforts to build community, drive economic growth, and provide valuable education. The group’s expanding reach and partnerships create a strong foundation for continued success. Supporting Black-owned businesses is not only about commerce but about building lasting connections and opportunities.
Thanks for an amazing 2025!
It's our time!
